Evidence-Based Proof Elderberry Syrup Is Better Than The Flu Shot

But what offends ME is that the flu shot was only a pathetic 23% effective in 2014-2015 and the general public will still willingly back up the vaccine.

Even though the facts remain that the flu shot risk carries tremendous risk and injures countless victims, people still back it up and stick out their arms. And even though the flu MIST is a LIVE VIRUS and has the ability to shed and infect others with the flu (For up to 21 days!), people STILL run into the pharmacy and open their nostrils!

Skittle-Fed Beef? Wisconsin Farmers Caught Secretly Feeding Candy to Beef Cattle

A bizarre spill of Skittles highway on a rural Wisconsin highway has placed the candy's manufacturer in the uncomfortable position of explaining why its products are finding their way into cattle feed.

The unexpected mishap ended up uncovering that farmers have been feeding candy to their cows for years as a way to cut corners and save money, at the cost to the quality of the beef as well as both cow and human health. Police, in talking to the cattle ranchers, soon learned that Skittles and other sweets are being commonly used in the area in order to "fatten up" cows as they serve as an inexpensive source of carbohydrates. A former farmer in the area told a local CNN affiliate that candy makers and bakeries often sell their rejected or defective candy products to be used as cattle feed, meaning that the problem is larger than just unscrupulous ranchers.

The 9 Very Best Essential Oils For Treating Colds And Flu

You know the feeling. It may start with a scratchy throat or with a few more aches and pains than normal. Or it could begin with a runny nose and a feeling of exhaustion. Yes, it's a cold coming on - or maybe worse - the flu.

A break in the clouds; Emergency declared for storm-damaged roads; drought status improves

The storm system exiting the Mother Lode on Thursday knocked down trees, including one of the oldest and largest in the Central Sierra, swelled creeks and rivers, tore up roads, broke pipes, flooded parks and libraries and blocked culverts.

It also prompted the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors to declare a local emergency for a handful of storm-damaged roads, including one in the Marshes Fire footprint, where heavy rains unleashed post-fire erosion that ripped out parts Marshes Flat Road near Moccasin.

Weekend storm drops heavy rain, more to come

The rainy deluge that hit the Mother Lode this weekend dropped 3 to 8 inches of rain over a 72 hour period, and meteorologists at the National Weather Service say another storm is on its way.

The next storm is expected to drop 2.5 to 3 inches of rain on the Sonora area, which will be less because warm air has the capability to hold more moisture than cold air. Snow levels will continue to be high as elevation increases, with Twain Harte expected to get 3 to 4 inches of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will not snow in Sonora, Del Valle said. The strongest winds will be confined to the valley, reaching 40 to 60 miles per hour, with wind speeds around 35 to 40 miles per hour in the Sonora area. Mountain ridge top gusts will reach 50 to 70 mph.
