Patrick Michael Tallon, Jr., 54, of Oakdale, CA, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Oak Valley Hospital, in Oakdale with his family by his side. Patrick was born in Sacramento, CA on July 7, 1959, to Lorena Dawn (Thompson) and Patrick Michael Tallon, Sr.
Patrick is survived by his son, Michael, and his wife, Kelli Tallon, of Sacramento, CA; daughters, Samantha Tallon, and Brianna Hayes, both of Modesto, CA; parents, Patrick and Helen Tallon, Sr. of Jackson, CA,; sister, Christine, and her husband, Eric Anderson, of Pine Grove, CA.; brothers, Mike, and his wife, Pamela Tallon of Castro Valley, CA; Grant Tallon and his fiancé, Lisa, of Jackson, CA; niece and many nephews.
Patrick was raised in Amador County, graduating from Jackson High School in 1977. He was the Jackson girls youth softball coach during from the late 80’s to early 90’s leading them to 10 championships, in addition to serving as president of the softball league. Patrick was also a Jackson volunteer fireman working closely with the fire chief who happened to be his father, Patrick, Sr. He worked as a Journeyman machinist for over 30 years the last 10 of which he lived and worked in Tuolumne County.
He will always be remembered as the stubborn hard headed, loving but ornery, hard worker, devoted father, all around good guy and of course “pretty boy” by his family and close friends. Cannot forget out spoken diehard Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco Giants fan. He had the ability to draw people in with his light hearted fun loving personality.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Monday, December 9, 2013, 1:00 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson, CA.
