It started raining about midnight, just a sprinkling at first. It’s now 2:00 a.m. and it’s coming down hard but it’s not regular snow, it looks like little tiny pellets.
My Motherlode reports:
High Wind Watch Issued For The Sierra Nevada
Breezy winds, rain and mountain snow will return to northern California overnight tonight and Wednesday morning.
Snow levels may even lower into the Mother Lode, however, only a light dusting is expected.
Up to half a foot of snow accumulation is possible in the highest elevations.
We could end up with a power outage, so it’s good to know that a lot of people up here have invested in a generator cause they may get the chance to use it.
My thermometer says its 42 degrees outside – supposedly its 39. So, bundle up, stay home tomorrow if you can.
