This morning we have had rain, hail and even snow. I know it’s Memorial Day weekend, and it’s supposed to be nice outside. We could have a repeat of 2010…remember when they closed the pass in June? It’s only May, but still…
Two Mother Lode mountain passes are closed due to the changing weather conditions.
Because of the winter-like weather, Highway 108 Sonora Pass is now closed at Kennedy Meadows, and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass is closed at the Mount Reba turnoff. Caltrans says it was done primarily as a precautionary measure.
There is a weather advisory until 6:00 p.m. We are expecting high winds and we could get as much a 8 inches of snow before it’s done!

Does your computer run slow? Maybe you got viruses or malware? We may be able to help. But first…
I’ve put down a little sod and I’m growing some grass but I’ve got grass clippings, and a couple of other piles laying around that need to be hauled off, because I missed burning season. I’d love to have them hauled away.
I also would love to have my carpet cleaned by a professional.
If you can help, we’d like to barter.
Computers are our business, heck they’re our lives. If you have a computer issue that you’d like solved and you own a truck or a professional carpet cleaner give us a call. If you have something to barter and you live, work or play in Twain Harte, drop me line and I’ll post it. That’s what neighbors are for.
If you’d like to barter call: (209) 565-1273 or (209) 565-12pd or visit: http://12pd.com.
A tuneful, foot-stomping celebration of America’s legendary singer-songwriter Johnny Cash, as told through the songs he composed and recorded.
Though he is never impersonated, his remarkable life story is told through his music, performed by gifted singers and instrumentalists climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate! It’s a soul-stirring journey into the heart and heartland of America, courtesy of one of America’s most beloved musical poets.
“Surprise! The jukebox musical is alive and well, thanks to some fresh thinking from the man who virtually invented the form nearly 30 years ago.” –Richard Maltby Jr.
